Laura has a passion for animals and a passion for life.  Devoting many volunteer hours to the Suncoast Animal League every year she hopes to raise awareness in the Community and lower stray animal population.  She has helped this small, caring shelter organize Fund raising events like the Wine and Jazz Event, Art for the Animals, Mutt March, Ride4theAnimals, Cycle4Strays and the Dogtoberfest. 

Laura is a hands-on volunteer and recently helped out in a Puppy Mill Rescue that rescued 121 dogs from inhumane conditions in Tarpon Springs.  She also speaks at local schools, teaching the students caring and kindness for animals.

 Fostering pets in need, during Hurricanes and cold fronts she has taken dogs and cats into her home for temporary shelter.  The most recent foster was a momma cat and her five precious babies.
